Jokowi Appoints Ridha Wirakusumah as CEO of Indonesia Investment Authority

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo announced today, February 16, the board of directors of the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) at the Presidential Palace.
“This morning, I’d like to introduce the nation's best sons and daughters who will be positioned in the board of supervisory and directors of INA,” he said in a live broadcast.
The INA, he explained, would be managed by the nation’s children who have experience at the national and international level and were selected by the committee with the help of professional headhunters.
Ridha D.M Wirakusumah was introduced as the Chief Executive Officer or CEO. “He has a long experience and was CEO in various multinational companies,” he explained.
Previously, Ridha had served as the President Director of Bank Permata since December 13, 2016.
The state head also introduced Arief Budiman as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO), Stefanus Ade Hadiwidjaja as Chief Investment Officer, Marita Alisjahbana as Chief Risk Officer, and Eddy Purwanto as Chief Financial Officer.
As for the board of supervisory, Jokowi appointed Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati and State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Minister Erick Thohir as the chairs, as well as Darwin Cyril Noerhadi, Yozua Makes, and Hariyanto as the members.
