Jakarta Government Secures 240,000 Doses of Covid-19 Vaccine by Sinovac

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria stated that the capital city government had received 240,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines. The vaccine received by the Jakarta government is the CoronaVac, produced by Sinovac.
On January 29, 2021, Riza attended the second phase of vaccine injection provided for representatives of three target groups: public officials, health professional organizations, and community leaders.
"There were 21 people representing the three groups who received the second injection," said Riza through his written statement.
The CoronaVac vaccine must be injected twice, each in a 0.5 milliliter dose, over an interval of 14 days. The first injection began on January 14 to January 15, 2021, in all health centers, regional hospitals, and other health facilities.
To date, 53,210 people have received the first injection and 2,449 people have received the second.
