Sri Mulyani: Tax Revenue at 85.65% of Target

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that ahead of the year-end, tax income has reached 85.65 percent of the targeted Rp1,019.56 trillion.
"The level of compliance for the annual tax notice report is 76.86 percent," Sri said in a virtual press conference, Wednesday, December 23.
Sri Mulyani said that 55 tax service offices recorded tax receipts above 100 percent. Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Taxes continues to collect tax revenues from the electronic systems of digital companies.
Currently, there are 23 digital companies that have collected tax revenues through an electronic system with a value of Rp616 billion. "That's not all. There are five more which we will collect before the year-end," she said.
The minister added that 69.9 percent of the budgets for the Covid-19 handling and National Economic Recovery program have been used as of December 22. As for the entire State Budget and Revenue for this year, the absorption rate is 90.1 percent of the total allocation.
