TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The anti-graft agency, Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), has reportedly made an arrest on the current Maritime and Fisheries Minister Edhy Prabowo at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport on early Wednesday. 

Reports suggest that KPK also secured his family members and employees of the ministry in this shocking announcement. 

“There were a number of people arrested, relatives and the ministry’s employees,” KPK Deputy Nurul Ghufron confirmed. “We will announce the details and what case this is linked to later.”

Apart from the number of people arrested, Ghufron remained tight-lipped. This KPK arrest was confirmed by KPK chairperson Nawawi Pomolango who said the operation was classified as a sting-op (OTT). Tempo’s sources suggest that Edhy Prabowo’s wife is in the list of arrestees.
