TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will conduct rapid tests for Covid-19 on 2,000 people, including employees and detainees. The tests will be conducted as the antigraft body prepares to operate under new norms as the world still faces a pandemic.
The rapid testing will take four days on June 4 and 5, and then on June 8 and 9.
KPK chief Firli Bahuri said on Thursday, June 4, that the tests are aimed at ensuring the safety of everyone in the KPK building.
Those who can take the rapid tests are KPK leaders, members of the Supervisory Council, permanent and contract employees, outsourced workers, detainees, security guards at the detainment center, as well as journalists.
"Those who frequently make social contacts and interactions at the KPK area are required to take the rapid tests," Firli said.
