TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Chief of the National COVID-19 Task Force, Wiku Adisasmito, has announced the ‘United Against COVID-19’ integrated information system, geared to accelerate data collection on the pandemic throughout Indonesia.
“Data is a navigator in making government policies with accurate decisions," Wiku said in a press conference broadcasted on the National Disaster Mitigation Agency’s (BNPB)Youtube account today, Monday, April 27, 2020.
The new ‘United against COVID-19’ information system, Wiku continued, will guarantee the public accessibility to data and information related to the COVID-19 outbreak throughout the country.
More specifically, the people can now monitor COVID-19 transmission in real time, while also maintaining the accuracy of data necessary in assisting in the logistics of distribution to hospitals, laboratories, and health services.
“With this accessibility, we can be more vigilant and be able to stay calm together in facing the pandemic,” Wiku added.
