Cops Hunt for 1 Detainee Escaped Kalideres Police

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - West Jakarta Resort Police Chief Sr. Commissioner Audie S. Latuheru said nine detainees have fled Kalideres Police Sector and most of them were immediately catched by the officers.
“We catched eight of them immediately,” Audie said in a written statement, Friday, April 17.
He explained that 9 detainees tried to run away on Thursday, April 16, at around 22:30, saying that the officers who witnessed the moment immediately catched 8 of them.
West Jakarta Police created a special team to chase one detainee who managed to escape.
The information of the fled detainees was first conveyed by Semanan Headman Bayu Fedeyen who said that the detainees jumped to Mookervart River.
"A number of detainees jumped to Mookervart River at around 00:30 when the locals heard noises," Bayu said to Tempo, Friday, April 17.
However, Bayu said he did not witness the incident and was not aware of how many of the detainees escaped the Kalideres Police Office.
