TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Achmad Yurianto, the spokesman for the national coronavirus mitigation, said two patients, Case 06 and 14, had presented good development, and their two latest test results came back negative for the COVID-19.
“We are educating them about self-isolation as they are preparing to go home,” said Yurianto at the Presidential Office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 11.
He explained the two cured patients must isolate themselves from society and even their families by wearing a mask, avoid contact with family, use their own eating and drinking tools, and minimize their outdoor activities, especially meeting with others.
“This is not an easy task because we need to inform them thoroughly. Even though they are tested negative, we hope they remain vigilant,” Yurianto remarked.
As earlier reported, Case 06 was part of the Jakarta cluster since the patient was linked to the first confirmed case. The person was tested positive five days ago.
Meanwhile, Case 14 involved a 50-year-old man who carried the new coronavirus from aboard. The man was confirmed positive two days ago.
