TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Two Monster Energy’s MotoGP riders Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales are scheduled to attend a meet and greet event in Jakarta on Tuesday, February 4.
“Rossi and Vinales will visit Indonesia and greet fans even closer at our event. This is a form of our appreciation for Indonesians, especially those fanatic to Yamaha MotoGP. Let's wait for their presence and celebrate the upcoming joyous meeting," said Yordan Satriadi, the Deputy General Managing Marketing of Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), in a written statement on Saturday, January 25.
Yordan added that lucky fans will have the chance to directly meet with Rossi and Vinales on February 4.
Rossi has recently caught the international spotlight after reports said he decided not to extend his contract for the 2021 racing season. His position was then replaced by a young rider Fabio Quartararo.
However, Yamaha asserted it would further support Rossi should the latter's willing to return and join the satellite team or as an individual in 2021
Meanwhile, reports suggested that Valentino Rossi has yet to decide his future whether he would continue to race with Yamaha in 2021, get retire, or join another team.
