Batik Air Chartered to Evacuate Indonesian Citizens from Wuhan

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - In response to the coronavirus outbreak, the Indonesian government chartered Lion Air Group's Batik Air aircraft to evacuate around 200 Indonesian citizens from Hubei province, China, including Wuhan City.
Lion Air Group president director Edward Sirait has confirmed the information.
"[That is] right, Batik Air A 330 aircraft. In terms of the details of the operation, we are still waiting [for it]," Edward said when confirmed by Tempo today, on Friday, January 31, 2020.
According to a copy of the principle permit request letter from Batik Air to the Transportation Ministry Tempo received, the aircraft is scheduled to depart on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 06.00 local time from Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
The plane will immediately depart to Wuhan city to evacuate Indonesian citizens.
The letter also stated that the A330 airplane would return to Indonesia on the same day. The aircraft is slated to arrive at Hang Nadim Airport, Batam, on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 19:00.
