Harun who is a PDIP politician was named a suspect for allegedly bribing the General Election Body (KPU) commissioner Wahyu Setiawan to clinch a seat at the House of Representatives (DPR) in replacement of the late Nazarudin Kiemas.
The anti-graft body issued the suspect naming on January 9 and since then, Harun’s whereabouts remained unknown to date.

In response to Firli’s request, National Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Argo Yuwono said on Friday, January 24, that his institution established a team to hunt down Harun Masiku.
