Erick Thohir to Announce PLN New CEO Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir said that he will determine the names of several PLN officials, including its CEO, this afternoon, December 23.
The minister also said that this afternoon at 16:00 the general meeting of shareholders will be held at his ministry's building.
Some of the things that will be announced include the state power company's new president director and deputy, finance director, chief commissioner, and deputy chief commissioner.
For the position of CEO, there are three candidates, one of them is reportedly former Minister of Communication and Information Rudiantara. Erick declined to confirm whether Rudiantara is among the candidates.
Other reports said that Zulkifli Zaini's is also a candidate for PLN CEO. Zulkifli is a former president director of Bank Mandiri.
Rudiantara had previously been predicted to be the new boss of PLN, with reports saying that Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan had mentioned how President Joko Widodo had appointed Rudiantara for said position.
