Banten Search and Rescue Team Look for 3 Missing Chinese Divers

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A joint search and rescue team on Wednesday, November 4, has been mobilized to search three Chinese nationals who reportedly went missing after diving in the waters of Sangiang Island, Serang District, Banten, on November 3.
Banten Deputy Police Chief Tomex Kurniawan was at the SAR makeshift rescue post to closely monitor the rescue operation accompanied by police personnel, Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Serang, Banten Divers Community, and representatives of the family.
The three Chinese nationals were diving in a group of tourist divers that consists of six on Sunday, November 3.
As of Thursday noon, November 7, no significant developments have come out of the search and rescue post.
