TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Sandiaga Uno, who previously ran as a vice presidential candidate in 2019 election, pinned hope the government would open cooperation opportunities to develop his programs, OK OCE and Rumah Siap Kerja.
“Yes, we wish for it; cooperation means we can be synergized well. We’ll be glad should the government wants to work together adopting [the programs],” said Sandiaga when asked by reporters on the possibility of ties with the government to boost people's economy.
Sandiaga made the statement after inaugurating Muslim Women Entrepreneurship Organization (WPMI) of the regional branch of West Java, South Sumatra, and West Nusa Tenggara, in the Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Ministry building, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 2.
The opportunity, he went on, would be part of his party’s efforts in intensifying the One District One Entrepreneurship (OK OCE) and a Ready for Work House (Rumah Siap Kerja) initiated by him since he served as Jakarta deputy governor.
Sandiaga Uno admitted that the program did not run well when he focused on his candidacy in the 2019 presidential election.
“This is our current attempts. I happen to be an outsider in the government, when I [had a position] in Jakarta, the [entrepreneurship] training is held in each sub-district. The training now remains to be established and if the central and regional government willing to open a [cooperation] opportunities, we’ll be glad to work together,” he concluded.
