Prabowo and Sandiaga to Attend Election Dispute Trial

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Presidential election candidates Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Uno is scheduled to attend the Constitutioal Court trial for the 2019 presidential election dispute scheduled to be held on Friday, June 14, 2019.
"Pak Prabowo and Sandiaga will be present [in the trial]," said BPN spokesman Andre Rosiade on Thursday, June 13, 2019.
Andre added that Prabowo and Sandiaga's presence in the court is to show their commitment to find a solution to the election dispute according to the Constitution.
Prabowo and Sandiaga filed the lawsuit on Friday, May 25, 2019 and it was officially registered at the Constitutional Court on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
Prior to the trial, Prabowo Subianto called for his supporters to not attend the public trial and requested his supporters to place their trust in the country's legal and constitutional path.
"Myself and Sandiaga urge our supporters not to flock the Constitutional Court courtroom on the coming days," said Prabowo in a video lasting 7 minutes and 58 seconds that was spread by his media team on Tuesday night, June 11, 2019.
