AHY, Ibas Pay Visit to Megawati after Meeting Jokowi

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The chairman of the Democrat Party’s Joint Task Force Command (Kogasma), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono or AHY, paid a visit to fifth Indonesian president Megawati Soekarnoputri on Jl. Teuku Umar, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.
AHY arrived at 12:44 local time together with his wife Anissa Pohan, and was later followed by his little brother Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono or Ibas, and Ibas' wife Siti Ruby Aliya Rajasa. They were welcomed by Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) secretary-general Hasto Kristiyanto.
AHY arrived at Megawati’s residence after visiting President Joko Widodo or Jokowi at the State Palace in Jakarta. After meeting Jokowi, AHY said he planned on visiting Megawati in her house. “I hope she [Megawati] is still in her house,” AHY said.

Before leaving for the State Palace, AHY and Ibas and their wives along with sixth Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono or SBY paid a visit to the grave of Ani Yudhoyono at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in South Jakarta.
Ani Yudhoyono passed away at the National University Hospital, Singapore, on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at around 11:50 a.m. local time after months of battling blood cancer. Ani was laid to rest at the cemetery on Sunday, June 2, 2019.
