Anies Baswedan Tries MRT, Transjakarta Integration System

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has tried Monday morning, March 25, the transport integration system of MRT Jakarta station and Transjakarta bus stop in Hotel Indonesia or HI Roundabout.
Anies boarded MRT Jakarta from Istora station and arrived at HI Roundabout station at around 7:45 a.m. local times.
“I’m boarding MRT this morning and get off in HI Roundabout. We have opened Transjakarta bus stop that is integrated to MRT station,” said Anies today in HI Roundabout bus stop, Central Jakarta.

Transjakarta bus stop and MRT station in HI Roundabout are specially designed to be integrated, and both are connected with 63 stairs.
After his arrival in Transjakarta bus stop, Anies continued his travel by taking Transjakarta route of Senen-Bundaran Senayan (1P), heading to the City Hall.
The Governor said that this integration system is the first one in the capital city. “We are not only supporting good management of transportation mode but also good integration system,” Anies Baswedan noted.
Transjakarta HI Roundabout bus stop starts operations yesterday, March 24, in coincided with the inauguration of MRT Jakarta by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo. The city provincial administration renovated the bus stop to integrate it with the train.
