TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Spokesman for the Jokowi – Ma’ruf Amin campaign team (TKN) Ace Hasan Syadzily revealed that the team is determined to work harder to stay ahead of their rivals Prabowo – Sandiaga Uno.

TKN’s unfazed determination was visible even though the Indonesia Survey Circle (LSI) Denny JA ranks Jokowi superior to Prabowo with a 20 percent electability gap.

“We will continue to boost their electability to the team’s 70 percent target,” said Ace to Tempo on Thursday, February 7.

However, Ace said that the TKN is faced with a difficult task to counter the fake rumors and hoaxes emerging from the grassroots level, which will add to the team’s weight apart from countering the attacks from opposition’s; Prabowo Subianto – Sandiaga Uno.

Ace Hasan Syadzily made it clear that TKN must be able to help Jokowi and Ma’ruf Amin upon attracting the attention of Indonesia’s undecided voters or swing voters.

On Thursday, LSI Denny JA released a report on its recent survey held since August of 2018 which places Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin superior to Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno with 54.8 percent for the former and 31 percent electability for the latter.
