Novel Bamukmin Suggest Ahok to Avoid Entering Politics Again

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Representative of the 212 brotherhood organization (PA 212) Novel Bamukmin argues that former Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama, or BTP as he prefers to be called now, should not enter politics again after he is officially freed from jail tomorrow.
“Don’t go into politics again,” said Novel in a text message to Tempo this morning.
Rather than politics, Novel suggested Ahok to open a business which he thinks Ahok is good at. Novel’s suggestion is a response to the current rumor of Ahok joining the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP).

A number of sources also implied that Ahok was asked to join the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) even though the party’s spokesman Guntur Romli never gave straight confirmation regarding this information.
Novel Bamukmin’s answer seemed to imply that the PA 212 group will not give Ahok blessing to enter politics again, even though the group never explicitly prohibits Ahok of doing so.
