Early Leak of Prabowo - Sandiaga Uno Presidential Debate Material

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice president candidate Sandiaga Uno revealed several points of discussions set to be brought by himself and Prabowo Subianto to the upcoming presidential debate on Thursday. They plan to talk about issues of corruption, law, human rights, and terrorism.

“We will understand the topics deeper. We received inputs from advisors and experts from yesterday’s session in the field of corruption, terrorism, law, and human rights. We have also seen a glimpse of the list of questions,” said Sandiaga Uno today, January 16, in Jakarta.

In terms of legal issues, Sandiaga Uno said that he will generally highlight the difference between their views of the law compared to the current administration. The pair will also focus on answering the needs of Indonesians as a whole upon fair and balanced law enforcement.

“There is a sense of injustice among society because they still view the law to be biased. We will convince the public that Prabowo-Sandiaga will uphold the supremacy of the law,” said the vice presidential hopeful.

In regards to terrorism, Prabowo-Sandiaga will try to find a solution to the matter related to injustice, welfare, despair, and non-comprehensive knowledge of religion. He said that he will attempt to destroy the stigma of religion being the sole culprit for terrorism.
