Diperum Nainggolan and his wife Maya Ambarita were found dead in their living room on Tuesday, November 13. Their two young children were found dead in their bedroom. The police ruled out burglary as the victims' belonging were not stolen.

Witnesses said that Diperum had three cars parked at home. One of them is a Nissan X Trail that belongs to Diperum's older brother Douglas. The car had been missing since the discovery of the murder.

On Wednesday, the police found the car in a rented flat in Cikarang, Bekasi. A witness said HS was driving the car, which then led to his arrest in Garut, West Java.
