Police Examine 12 Witnesses over Murder of One Family in Bekasi

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police have examined twelve witnesses related to the murder case of one family in Jatirahayu, Pondok Melati District, Bekasi City. Jakarta Metro Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Argo Yuwono said the twelve witnesses were relatives and neighbors of the victims.
Police investigators seized a number of evidence from the crime scene which along with witnesses’ testimony would be used to identify perpetrators suspected to be more than a person.

The victims were Dikum Nainggolan (38) and Maya Ambarita (37), who found dead in the living room, and their two children Sarah (9) and Arya (7) in the bedroom.
As of date, police had yet found any clue related to the perpetrator considering no victims’ neighbor was aware of the murder act and no CCTV installed in the area. There was only one CCTV unit located approximately 20 meters away from the victim’s house, yet, it did not direct to the road.
Bekasi Metro Police Chief Sr. Comr. Indarto suspected motives of the murder was not a robbery. However, police are still studying various possibilities. “We analyze every motive, but so far, it is not due to an economic issue,” he said.
