646,000 Vehicles Left Jakarta ahead of Eid

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State toll operator Jasa Marga said that as of June 13 — two days ahead of the Eid el-Fitr — 646,000 vehicles had left Jakarta through the main gate of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
"That number shows a 37-percent increase from normal days' 469,000 cars," Jasa Marga's media relations manager Herald Galingga said in a written statement, Thursday, June 14, 2018.
Jasa Marga also noted a 61-percent traffic distribution fro m Cikarang toll gate to the North Lanec,. Meanwhile, the volume of vehic ards the South Lane rose 39 percent.
Jasa Marga appeals to toll-road users to ensure they have enough balance on their e-toll cards before entering gates.
"We only provide top-up services for emergency situations," he said.
