TEMPO.CO, Yogyakarta - National Police ensures that the Special Detachment (Densus) 88 anti-terror unit will participate in handling the probe on the attack on Santa Lidwina Church in Sleman on Sunday 11 February.
From an interim report, the perpetrator seemed to perform the action alone. But the police will not conclude that simply. “We asked the Yogyakarta Police to collect information from the community organizations to solve this case,” Inspector General Police Ari Dono Sukmanto said.
Panti Rapih Hospital, where the wounded victims are being treated, still guarded by police with a long barrel at each entrance. “There is one platoon (30 people) guarding until the victims can go home,” said a police officer at the hospital entrance.
There are three people who are being treated in Panti Rapih, Father Edmund Prier and two other victims who have been wounded on their head and back at the St. Lidwina Church.
