Police Release Most of Gay Party Attendees

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police have released most of the men allegedly attended a gay party dubbed The Wild One in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. Some 131 gay men attended the party, 126 of whom have been released.
“There was no indication of pornography offense,” North Jakarta Criminal Investigation Unit Chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Nasriadi said today, May 23.

The police only detained five men for alleged drug abuse following urine tests. They earlier named two suspects also for drug abuse. “A total of seven men have been tested positive for drugs. They have been handed over to North Jakarta Drug Unit,” Nasriadi said.
Earlier on Sunday, the police raided on a fitness center called PT Atlantis in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. As many as 141 men were arrested, 10 of whom have been named suspects. Meanwhile, 131 attendees of the sex party had to undergo urine drug tests.
