Three Hajj Pilgrims from Padang Died in Mecca

TEMPO.CO, Padang - Three hajj pilgrims from Padang embarkation, have died in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The three of them are from Padang and Bengkulu.
"The three pilgrims who died are the elderly. Before departing to Mecca, they were in good condition,” said Efrizal, Head of Hajj and Umrah Development of the Religious Affairs Minister of Padang Chapter on Saturday (20/8).
The hajj who died were identified as Nazar Baktiar (82), Asma (77), and Tafniah (72).
Nazar and Asma were from the first batch, while Tafniah was from the third batch from Bengkulu.
Acting Head of Hajj and Umrah Division of the Religious Ministry Afrijal said that the number of hajj pilgrims from Padang reaches 4,956 people of eleven batches, consisting of 3,599 from West Sumatra, 1,292 from Bengkulu and 55 officials.
