Fuel to Not Increase Until End of January 2016, Govt says

TEMPO.CO Jakarta The Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry stated that fuel price will not increase until the end of January 2016. The government is attempting to stabilize consumer’s purchasing ability amid the current drop of economy.
"The price remains the same," said Minister Sudirman Said on Wednesday
Sudirman said that starting October, the government is set to apply market price scheme. Therefore, the price can change based on evaluation and periodic price change scheme. "Based on our evaluation during the past year, the three-month scheme is the best," said Sudirman.
He argued that the government opted three-month scheme after considering purchase ability.
