TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - It’s only a day away from the British pop band One Direction’s ‘On The Road Again’ concert in Jakarta. The concert, which will be held at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium on Wednesday, March 25 is expected to attract massive crowd of fans, despite the confirmed-absence of one of the band member Zayn Malik.

One Direction is a pop band formed by Simon Cowell at a talent show The X Factor in 2010, which immediately became audiences’ favorite. The band, that consists of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, won the 2010 The X Factor and soon became the world’s new idol with fan base from all over the world.

The wave of British pop has taken their singles ‘What Makes You beautiful’, ‘Live While We’re Young’ and ‘Story of My Life’ into United States’ top 10 single with increasing record sales. They also become the first band to record best-selling albums for all their three albums ‘Up All Night’ ‘Take Me Home’ and ‘Midninght Memories’.

One of the band members Zayn Malik is confirmed to skip the tour concert in Jakarta and Philippines due to stress following public accusations in social media that he was cheating on his fiancee. Zayn signed off after completing the tour in Thailand.
