TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Legendary rock band from Los Angeles, Metalicca will hold a concert at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta on August 25. They tweeted through their official twitter account, @Metallica5h, "Jakarta! It's been 20 long years - we will see you again on August 25! #MetOnTour." The tweet was meant to confirm the plan.

The promoter of the concert is a local company, Blackrock Ent. Tickets will be available online through www.blackboxtix.com starting Monday, July 8, at 10.00 Western Indonesian Time. Ticket outlets will be open one hour after that. Ticket price ranges from Rp400,000 (around US$40) to Rp1.5 million.

This will be the second time for the band to come to Jakarta. The first time was 20 years ago when they performed in Lebak Bulus Stadium in 1993. The concert went violent as some people entered the show area without buying tickets.

James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo will also hold concerts in other ASEAN countries, such as Malaysia on August 21 and Singapore on August 24.
