TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Deputy for Inclusion of the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md National Winning Team (TPN), Jaleswari Pramodawardhani, responded to the summoning of four ministers in the presidential election dispute hearing on Friday, April 5, 2024.

According to her, the four ministers who will testify before the Constitutional Court will reveal the truth about alleged election fraud in the form of politicization of social assistance.

"I believe that the ministers will provide testimony that supports the material truth in the social assistance politicization without being influenced by external factors," Jaleswari said in a written message to Tempo on Friday.

The four ministers summoned by the Constitutional Court are Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs Muhadjir Effendy, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, and Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini.

Jaleswari expressed optimism that the four ministers would provide the bare facts as a form of explanation and clarification to achieve substantive truth about the alleged election violation.

"We should respect the ongoing legal process," she said.

Previously, in a follow-up hearing on Monday, April 1, 2024, Chief Justice Suhartoyo confirmed that the panel of judges would summon four ministers in the 2024 presidential election dispute hearing. He said the Constitutional Court would schedule the summoning of the ministers on Friday, April 5, 2024.
