TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that so far there have been no reports of Indonesian casualties in the shooting at a concert arena in Moscow, Russia on Friday night. At least 80 people were killed and hundreds injured in the attack by gunmen at the Crocus City Hall near Moscow.

"The Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Moscow immediately coordinated with the local authorities and communicated with Indonesian citizens in Russia," the director of the Indonesian Citizens Protection and Legal Entities Department at the Foreign Ministry, Judha Nugraha, said in a written statement in Jakarta on Saturday, March 23.

"So far, there is no indication that Indonesian citizens are among the victims," he said.

Judha added that the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow had urged Indonesians in Russia to be more vigilant in the coming period, as Russian authorities had tightened security following the attack.

"In case of emergency, contact the hotline of the Indonesian Embassy in Moscow immediately," he said.

The attack took place at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, a city west of the Russian capital - Moscow. The shooting was carried out by a group of armed assailants who have not yet been identified, although ISIS has claimed responsibility.
