1. Bali Airport Sees 1 Million International Travelers in February 2024

I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali province, served a total of 1,751,427 passengers in February 2024, including 1,002,390 international travelers.

In Denpasar city on Saturday, general manager of the airport, Handy Heryudhitiawan, said that the airport accommodated one million international passengers traveling on 5,520 flights.

According to him, travelers arriving and departing from and to Singapore dominated the passenger traffic at 206,168, followed by Kuala Lumpur (135,768 passengers), and Perth (73,138 passengers).

2. BMKG Forecasts a Cloudy Jakarta Today, No Rain Expected

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency or BMKG forecasts that all of Jakarta will be cloudy on Monday, March 18, 2024.

BMKG, as quoted by Antara on Monday, detailed that all areas of Jakarta and the Seribu Islands will be cloudy in the morning.

This cloudy weather will persist during the day in all areas of Jakarta and the Seribu Islands. In the evening, the weather in all areas of Jakarta remains clear with no potential for rain.

3. Indonesian Govt Spills Reasoning Behind Import Restriction at Soekarno-Hatta Airport

The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Trade has begun implementing rules regarding restrictions on imported goods brought by passengers from abroad.

Minister of Trade Regulation Number 36 of 2023 concerning Import Policies and Regulations has been issued since December 11, 2023, and came into effect on Sunday, March 10, 2024. The Soekarno-Hatta Customs and Excise Office has begun implementing the policy.
