TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Metro Police's investigators have scheduled to question four witnesses in the case of assault against D, son of GP Ansor leader, by Mario Dandy Satriyo, 20 years old. Mario had previously been named a suspect along with Shane Lukas for assaulting D until he fell into a coma.
"Investigators are still waiting for the process of summoning the four witnesses," said Jakarta Metro Police's PR chief Sr. Comr. Pol. Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, to reporters, Monday, March 13.
The police have yet to reveal the identities of the four witnesses and what information they seek to obtain from their statements.
The assault case involves the general court system and juvenile court system, because it involves Mario's girlfriend AG, who is only 15. She now holds the status of a child in conflict with the law in this case.
As she is underage, if AG is to be named as a suspect as well, the process requires collaboration with relevant institutions and professions such as the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), child criminal experts, and the Ministry of Women Empowerment And Child Protection.
Based on Mario Dandy's statement in his police examination report (BAP), the assault happened after someone with the initials APA told Mario that D had acted unpleasantly against AG.
Mario's attorney Dolfie Rompas said that APA is his client's friend. APA has been questioned as a witness.
