TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo asserted today that his team is solid in handling the shooting case of Brigadier J which is masterminded by Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. He made the statement in a hearing with the House of Representatives (DPR) Commission III on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

“We are solid in handling this case. We are asked by the President to investigate this thoroughly without hesitation and hiding something. Don't lower public trust in the police to uncover this case,” said Listyo Sigit who was accompanied by 18 members of the Special Team at the DPR building.

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the DPR Commission III Adies Kadir explained the meeting with the National Police Chief will be focused on the death of Brigadier J. To date, the police have named five suspects, including Sambo.

Adies added that the DPR Commission III had summoned the National Police Commission (Kompolnas), Komnas HAM, and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) to explore information related to Brigadier J’s death and Ferdy Sambo.
