INKA Signs Infrastructure Partnerships Deal with Destini Berhad Malaysia

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned train manufacturer PT Industri Kereta Api or PT INKA has collaborated with a Malaysian company, Destini Berhad. The cooperation covers railway infrastructure and train facilities, both in and outside Malaysia.
INKA president director Budi Noviantoro said that a Heads of Agreement was signed in Jakarta, Wednesday, November 10.
"PT INKA's collaboration with this Malaysian company is an implementation of the 'SOE Go Global' program launched by the SOE Minister. It has full support from the Indonesia-Malaysia Business Council (IMBC)," Budi Noviantoro said in a statement received in Madiun.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who is on a work visit to Indonesia.
Destini Berhad is a Malaysian public company that listed on the Malaysian Exchange. The company with operations in Asia, Australia, the Middle East and Europe has a group of subsidiaries engaged in various engineering business sectors, including air/aviation, defense, marine, energy, railways, and other modes of land transportation.
