TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin ordered all heads of the High Prosecutor's Office and heads of the District Attorney's Office to ensure that the procurement and distribution of goods related to Covid-19 response run smoothly.

The order is stipulated stated in the AGO's Letter Number B-132/A/SKJA/06/2021 issued on June 30, 2021.

"To take firm action against any effort that may hinder or thwart the procurement and distribution of the goods in question," ST Burhanuddin said in a written statement on Monday, July 4.

Burhanuddin also instructed his staff members to give strict sanctions indiscriminately to anyone who violates health protocols, and make sure that the sanctions imposed provide a deterrent effect to the individuals as well as the general public.

The AGO also coordinates with the Covid-19 Task Force, the police, local governments and courts to carry out judicial operations enforcing the Emergency PPKM disciplinary law.

Finally, the AGO coordinates with local Covid-19 Task Forces to organize vaccination programs for all employees, families and communities in their respective jurisdictions.
