TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - An alleged terrorist listed on the National Police (Polri)'s fugitive list, Nouval Farisi, has reportedly handed himself in to the Setiabudi Metro Police Precinct on Thursday, April 8.

South Jakarta Police Chief Sr. Comr. Azis Andriansyah confirmed the news on Friday, April 9. “Yes, that is confirmed,” he said.

Nouval Farisi is one of the four suspected terrorists hunted by the police's anti-terror squad Densus 88. The initials of the other three are YI, AN, and ARH, with AN already in police custody.

The group is believed to be involved in a terrorist network that was nabbed in East Jakarta, Bekasi, and West Jakarta at the end of March this year.

Tempo has reached the relatives of Nouval Farisi in the area of Jatipadang, Pasar Minggu in South Jakarta. According to his brother-in-law Awang Suharja, Nouval left his home on Monday midnight and bade him farewell stating, “Goodbye, two of my teachers are already arrested,” said Awang Suharja.
