TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil asks restaurants, cafes, diners, and similar businesses at Covid-19 red zones in Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi, to stop the dine-in service. He announced the new regulation when visited Depok yesterday, Friday, Oct. 2.

“We’ve agreed that red zones will only serve takeaway, the Gubernatorial Regulation has been signed to immediately be enforced,” Ridwan Kamil, or Emil, said Friday.

The dine-in service is only available at the orange, yellow, and green zones, Emil said, with 50 percent capacity at orange zones, and 75 percent capacity at yellow zones, and 100 percent capacity at green zones.

But the operational hours will still be limited to only until 18:00.

The regulations, according to Emil, were made to adjust to Jakarta’s social restriction (PSBB) rules, as they are still in the same frequency.

“So, for the people of Depok, I’m sorry that in the next 14 days, the restaurants and cafes are limited to operate until 6 p.m,” Ridwan Kamil remarked.

The governor hopes each regional head in Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi will be more assertive in enforcing the regulations to contain the Covid-19 transmission.
