TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Administration has reported that coronavirus (COVID-19) recoveries reached 64 cases as of Monday, April 6. This recovery rate equates to 6 percent out of the total of 1,151 cases from January 21.
Meanwhile, the city reported 123 people (11 percent) have died due to contracting COVID-19. There are 685 patients currently in treatment and 279 committing to self-isolation.
Patients under monitoring (PDP) reached 2,215 people with people under monitoring (ODP), those yet to show symptoms, reach 517 people.
Head of the Jakarta Health Agency Fify Mulyani said in a virtual press conference from City Hall on Friday encouraged healthy people to use homemade face masks and to follow health protocols in terms disposing of used face masks.
“Replace and soak the clothes you wore in detergent before making any contact with family members [at home],” said the Jakarta Health Agency Head.
Meanwhile, coronavirus cases nationwide amount to 2,273 cases with 164 recoveries and 198 deaths.
