TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Religious Affairs Minister Lukman Hakim Saifuddin insists not to disclose information upon the money found in his office which was confiscated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
“Look here, ethically it is not my position to inform [the public] on a case before is officially inform it to the KPK first,” said Lukman Hakim at the PPP national meeting in Bogor, on Wednesday.

Previously reported on Monday, March 18, KPK investigators confiscated the money while they were investigating a possible bribery case within the Religious Affairs Ministry that incriminated former PPP Chairman Romahurmuziy.
Minister Lukman said that he will publically provide an answer once KPK has officially questioned him for investigation purposes. Up until this moment, KPK has yet summoned Lukman.
“There has yet been any summoning,” he said.
In a separate occasion, United Development Party (PPP) secretary general Arsul Sani maintained that the money confiscated in Lukman Hakim Saifuddin`s office is not from illegal activities and that it was obtained in a halal way.
