TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Traveling to the tropical islands like Bali, Mauritius, or Barbados would be nice. But you should be ready to share the comfort with many other tourists when visiting it.

If you want to have more private time, of course, you have to find another more beautiful desert island. But where? Especially if you still have to add other terms, for example: easy to reach and not too expensive.

But do not worry, the metro.co.uk page provides the list of five tropical islands in the world with such requirements.

1. Espírito Santo, Vanuatu

In the western part of Pacific Ocean precisely in the west of Fiji mountains, there are 83 volcanic islands in the Vanuatu island. One of them is Espírito Santo Island.

The island has a desert beach and natural-hole pool. Snorkeling in the Million Dollar Point will take you to see the Coral Garden scattered around the wasted war machine at the end of World War II.

Rent a car to explore the eastern coastline’s beauty, and then go to the Nanda Blue Hole known as the most perfect place to swim.

2. Lady Elliot Island, Australia

This is one of the best secret places in Australia, Lady Elliot Island located at the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland. On the north of the island, there is a beach with clean-white sand.

However, the underwater life of the island is much more beautiful. Take a snorkeling tour to the Lighthouse Bonnie where you can meet the Manta Pari Fish. You will also be amazed by the views of the coral garden where the colorful fish live as well as turtles and reef sharks.

3. Moorea, French Polynesian

Moorea Island is one of the islands within the French Polynesian island area. It is located 12 miles to the northwest of Tahiti.

This volcanic island is a haven for tourists. With a background of green mountain and a beach with a beautiful golden-sand. Plus, the cost of living here is cheaper than the neighbor island, Bora Bora.

4. Karimunjawa Island, Indonesia

Located in the Java Sea, Karimunjawa consists of 27 islands in marine conservation areas. That is, this place has a beautiful beach and colorful underwater life.

5. Tanna Island, Vanuatu

If your idea of a tropical paradise is more geared to the adventure than a permanent beach, then Tanna Island is the right choice. Here, you will be welcomed by the local community and taste delicious Tanna Melanesian roots.
