Repatriated Funds from Tax Amnesty Reaches Rp1.07 Trillion

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Spokesperson of the Tax Directorate General at the Finance Ministry, Hestu Yoga Saksama, said that tax amnesty has repatriated Rp1.07 trillion, as per today, August 24.

Hestu said that Rp 826 billion of repatriated funds are from personal non SME sector, while Rp167 billion are from taxpayers non SME. The program has also repatriated Rp75.9 billion from personal and SME sector, and Rp3.52 billion from taxpayer and SME sector.

Hestu said that the repatriated funds are parts of the Rp53.7 trillion declared assets.

The tax amnesty has rolled for over 4 weeks since it was introduced on July 19. The government targets that it can repatriated as much as Rp165 trillion this year.
