TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - Marketing Manager of Elite Driving Club, Deachrist Rohy, said people would not need to buy one if they want to drive luxury sport cars, because Lamborghini Gallardo, Porsche Cayman 981 and R, Mini, and Volkswagen Beetle 2 are now available for rent from the club.

“One time payment for one-year use,” said Christ to Tempo on Saturday, August 29.

Christ explained that people need to go as deep as Rp600 million at the minimum for an exotic package of Lamborghini 4,961 cc. By paying such amount of money, one acquires 3,000 points that can be redeemed for driving five available cars.

The rental rate each time is 135 points on weekday and 430 points on weekends for Lamborghini, and 40 points on weekday and 145 points on weekends for Cayman. As for Mini JCW GP 2, 30 points are needed to be redeemed on weekdays and 110 on weekends. VW Beetle 2.0 Turbo is offered at the lowest rate of 20 points on weekdays and 85 points on weekends.

“The limit is 150 kilometers each use,” said Christ.

Target for the rental business, according to Christ, are other sport car owners. Renting other type of sport cars would be much more money-saving compared than buying new ones.

“We only open for 18 members a year. Now there are 10 members already,”Christ explained.

In addition to the Rp600-million package, the club also offers other packages with varying price ranges for example individual package for Rp200 million, corporate Rp400 million and corporate exotic Rp1 billion.

“As for Lamborghini, minimum use is at Rp600 million nominal.”
