TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After many weeks of rumors, Sony has officially launched its flagship, the Xperia Z4 in Japan.
The Sony Xperia Z4 has an OmniBalance design with 6.9mm thick profile, a metal frame and adopts a 5.2 inch 1080p display.
Just like its predecessor, the Xperia Z4 brings IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.
The device runs a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset armed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage capable of being expanded up to 128GB with a microSD slot.
By default, the smartphone weighs 114 grams and powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Xperia Z4 also packs a 20.7MP rear camera with Exmor RS image sensor coupled with the BIONZ image processing engine, a G Lens, the 1/2.3-inch and ISO12800 image sensor to capture well exposed images in poorly lit environments.
For users enthusiast of snapping foods, aside the HDR mode, Sony has added new 'Cooking Mode'.
For selfie fans, the Xperia Z4 is equipped with a 5MP wide-angle camera with Exmor R sensor that has been optimized to reduce shakes during selfies and video recording.
The Xperia Z4 also supports high quality audio performance for wireless playback and comes with a 2,930 mAh battery.
Unfortunately, the device is only available in the Japanese market so far and there has not been any confirmation for its release in other markets.
