TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) has formed a team to investigate an alleged criminalization of the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) Deputy Chief Bambang Widjojanto.
The team consists of 22 members of which eight are Komnas HAM commissioners. The team has been formed following several reports from NGOs alleging criminalization of KPK chiefs, said Komnas HAM Commissioner Nur Kholis.
"We are considering all the reports received from NGOs. Our focus will be on the alleged criminalization of KPK chiefs," Nur Kholis said as quoted by Antara News.
According to Nur Kholis, Komnas HAM will soon summon parties concerned with the KPK criminalization, including KPK chiefs, Acting Police Chief Commissioner General Badrodin Haiti, Polices Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit Inspector General Budi Waseso, and the Chief of Kotawaringin District.
