TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) faction at the House of Representatives, has asked all parties to postpone the Amendment of Law No. 17/2014 (MD3 Law). PDI-P Faction member Honing Sanny, said that the administration should wait for the Constitutional Court's (MK) review decision on September 30.
"We hope that MK will grant our judicial review," said Honing. Honing also said that PDI-P is ready to accept the draft bill to be signed as a law if MK failed to come up with a decision on that date.
Yoseph Umar Hadi, another member of the PDI-P faction, also said that the House members should reconsider their intention to amend the MD3 in order to maintain the long-established democracy.
