TEMPO.CO, London – Chelsea have secured a replacement for Milan-bound Fernando Torres. The West Londoners have confirmed to sign Loic Remy from Queens Park Rangers.
Chelsea reportedly splashed 10.5 million pounds to sign the skilled French striker. With Remy’s inbound to Chelsea, the Blues have had what could be the best attacking lineup in Premier League this season, comprising goal-getter Diego Costa, living legend Didier Drogba, and supersub Loic Remy. Certainly having three striker options thrills Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who last season complained for the lack of goal-scoring players.
Prior to sealing the deal, Remy was about to take on Sunderland with QPR. Fortunately for Chelsea, the club signed the player, who had been linked to fellow London club Arsenal, in the last days of summer transfer window.
