TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Pinterest, a picture-sharing website with pin-board-style display, is available in Bahasa Indonesia starting on Wednesday, January 15, 2014.
"We are happy to help Pinterest users explore their favorite things in Bahasa Indonesia," Matt Crystal, Head of International Pinterest, said in his official statement.
Sharing photos and pictures can be included in several categories. In Pinterest, people can follow Pinners—term for Pinterest users—with similar interest to generate creative ideas.
Cyrstal said that Pinterest recorded active "Pinning" activities in Indonesia on popular categories such as fashion, inspirational quotes, travel, craft, food and house decoration.
"Local content is the first step to help Indonesian Pinners to find their interest and hobby in a new way," Crystal stated.
