Police Found Traces of Blood in Bekasi Murder Victim`s Car

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The police are interrogating a man suspected to have been involved in the murder of an entire family in Bekasi. The suspect, HS, is said to have stolen a Nissan X-Trail car that belongs to the victim`s brother.


Jakarta Metro Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Argo Yuwono said investigators found traces of blood in the car, including on the seatbelt, carpet and door handle.


"We have taken blood samples to be processed by forensics," Argo said in Jakarta, Thursday, November 15.

Investigators also found two cellphones that belonged to the victim inside the car.


"There's blood on the cell phone too," Argo said.


Diperum Nainggolan and his wife Maya Ambarita were found dead in their living room on Tuesday, November 13. Their two young children were found dead in their bedroom. The police ruled out burglary as the victims' belonging were not stolen.


Witnesses said that Diperum had three cars parked at home. One of them is a Nissan X Trail that belongs to Diperum's older brother Douglas. The car had been missing since the discovery of the murder.

On Wednesday, the police found the car in a rented flat in Cikarang, Bekasi. A witness said HS was driving the car, which then led to his arrest in Garut, West Java.


Argo said that HS denied that he was involved in the murder of the Diperum family.
