Megadeth Auctions 2 Guitars for Palu Earthquake Victims

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Not only will Megadeth perform in the second edition of the International Rock Music Festival: JogjaROCKarta 2018, but the legendary band from Los Angeles also auctioned two guitars with the profits that will go to the victims and survivors of the devastating tsunami and earthquake in Palu, Central Sulawesi.

The auctioned guitars have been signed by the entire Megadeth personnel; Dave Mustaine, David Ellefson, Kiko Loureiro, and Dirk Verbeuren. The signing was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Yogyakarta on Friday, October 26.

“We are glad to be able to share this with the victims of the earthquake and tsunami,” said Dave Mustaine.

Furthermore, the auction results will be announced later with the proceeds entirely going to the victims of the natural disaster, said JogjaROCKarta promotor and Rajawali Indonesia Communication CEO Anas Syahrul Alimi.

The JogjaROCKarta 2018 festival is set to be held at Kridosono Yogyakarta Stadium tonight, October 27.
